The starting point for services of schools and educational institutions is close co-operation, as well as the desire to support the schools’ curriculum and educational objectives. In our catering services, we comply with the general recommendations for school meals and the instructions on catering for the university students.
We provide our customers with a variety of appetising dishes which form a nutritionally balanced meal and help maintain vitality during the whole day of studies. In addition to a cosy restaurant environment, we also provide the students with cafés where they can enjoy a break from their studies. Service is smooth and fast in the cafés, and the products can be eaten in the café or taken away.
Universities and universities of applied sciences
University students are entitled to a discount when dining in restaurants subsidised by Kela (The Social Insurance Institution of Finland). The meal subsidy for university students is EUR 1.67 per meal. The Finnish Government’s decree on the maximum price of meals is complied with in the subsidised restaurants. Students can get the discount by presenting a valid student ID or a meal subsidy card issued by Kela.
University-level students appreciate flexible meal times and café services must be easily available. We also offer the university students an opportunity to enjoy a well-rounded breakfast.
Upper secondary level institutions
Fazer Food Services provides restaurant services for several vocational schools and universities of applied sciences. The students receive a free meal as a study benefit. They appreciate fast service and varied food. Amica-restaurants provide students with tasty and nutritionally wholesome meals that help maintain their ability to concentrate on studying.
