Orientation, training, learning at work, job rotation, project tasks, mentoring and degree studies are our methods of ensuring the proficiency of our staff. Competence development is based on our strategy and is goal-oriented and long-term. During your employment, you have the opportunity to develop your professional skills through our training system – up to a vocational degree, for example.
Degrees
Competence-based degrees as part of career progress
Basic and vocational degrees in the field are completed at the beginning of the career. Examples include chef and waiter/waitress degrees. Once the person has gained work experience, he/she can choose to apply for further studies, including a special degree for supervisors, the entrepreneur’s special vocational degree, or a special vocational degree in management.
Master of Fazer Culinary Arts and Serving Arts
The objective of our own coaching programmes is to deepen and supplement the competence of professionals who already have good skills. We want to coach them to be VIP level specialists both in the kitchen and the dining room of our restaurants. Both training programmes last about twelve months.
The programmes consist of remote studies, classroom studies under the guidance of the world’s top-notch experts, training periods in high-profile restaurants in the sector, and study trips. The Master programmes also involve coach training.
