Opening a restaurant

The technical preparations for opening a restaurant start in good time when the contract negotiations have reached the stage when it is possible to start the process. A special project team is responsible for opening the restaurant. It is responsible for all practical arrangements, including permit procedures in accordance with the requirements from the authorities, ordering the ADSL lines and purchasing the tableware.

The recruitment of personnel starts after the restaurant service agreement has been secured with the customer. The professional recruitment team of our HR department will be in charge of the recruitment process. The recruited personnel will be carefully familiarised with the operating methods and special features of the customer company.

After signing the contract, a start-up meeting will be held with the customer’s contact person in order, for example, to agree in more detail on the start-up schedule. In addition, the beginning often includes a customer survey. The results are used for the development of operations. After operations have started, an internal audit will be carried out in the restaurant. It will ensure that operations obey the customer promises.  An agreement review will be carried out with the customer in order to discuss the implementation of quality factors defined in the agreement and service description.
