Menus and special diets
We plan our menus in accordance with the wishes of our customer companies, using a broad range and varying selection of ingredients. When planning our menus, we also take into account the nutritional recommendations for the customer group in question.
R&D
All of our restaurants use recipes that have been developed and tested by our own R&D teams. Our recipes are based on high-quality ingredients that are both fresh and safe. We use soft fats in cooking and favour light preparation methods. We follow recommendations in our use of salt. Our professional chefs and cooks see to it that our food tastes great, too.
Our nutrition expert ensures that the latest nutritional information is taken into account when creating recipes and planning menus. When necessary, our expert also provides personnel training and takes part in planning and organising well-being events.

With good menu planning, we seek to ensure that customers following the most common special diets will also be able to find suitable meals on our standard menus. If you require individual special diet meals, we can prepare them in our kitchen in accordance with your dietary restrictions. The restaurant manager will discuss your diet with you in order to gain a thorough understanding of your individual needs.
All Amica restaurants have guidelines for implementing special diets and meeting nutritional recommendations. Additional training for implementing special diets is arranged for personnel when necessary. Our restaurants also receive regular internal memos about current issues relating to nutrition and foodstuffs.
Menu symbols
Menu symbols provide information on the suitability of each dish for those on special diets.
L = Lactose-free
VL = Low-lactose (less than 1% lactose)
M = Milk-free
G = Gluten-free
* = Feel Well dish (linkki tähän)
Dishes labelled with an asterisk * are called Feel Well dishes and are especially healthy. They have:
- moderate quantities of fat
- good quality fat
- a low salt content.
Dishes labelled with an asterisk can be recommended to everyone.
