We adhere to nutritional recommendations

At Fazer, we closely monitor nutritional debate and research. We adhere to nutritional recommendations in our R&D and when planning our menus.

Most Finns eat their main meal of the day at their workplace or place of study. That's why our restaurants place an emphasis on both the taste and healthiness of their food. We always take current nutritional recommendations into consideration when developing new products and planning menus. 

During preparation, we prefer oven cooking and stewing, and try to avoid fat frying. We use soft vegetable fats for cooking and try to adjust salt content to a suitable level for our customers. We use low-salt stock preparations and season our food with basic herbs and spices. We avoid ready-made spice mixes and marinated products, as they contain hidden salt.

Fazer Bakeries & Confectionery offers a wide range of products for both everyday meals and celebrations, including tasty treats. We structure our product range to cater to the widest possible range of needs. Our range includes specially packaged baked goods and confectionery, 100% xylitol products, fibre-rich bread and low-salt bakery products.
