Our love for great food and friendly service is the legacy that we have cherished since the very first Fazer restaurant opened. Karl Fazer was famous for always trying his very best to exceed his customers’ expectations. He wanted to give joy and memorable culinary experiences to his customers. This still remains our passion.
Restaurant services became a significant part of Fazer’s business operations when Fazer Catering – now Fazer Food Services – was established in 1976. Our expertise in food services is based on catering services provided by members of the former Lotta Svärd organisation. The association employed members of the former Lotta Svärd organisation, and this competence capital was transferred to Fazer when it acquired the business operations of Working Site Service.
Most of our restaurants in Finland have operated under the Amica brand, which in the past few decades has established itself as a well-known and trusted company name and service brand among our customers and stakeholders. Amica will continue as a service brand under Fazer Food Services. With the rebranding of our restaurant services (2016–2018), Amica will receive a new, green image. Amica will also be accompanied by a completely new service brand, Fazer Food & Co.
Over the next three years, our new service brands will be gradually introduced at our restaurants. We are currently reshaping the core of our business – taste, service and milieu.
