On Independence Day week, we will celebrate the work of provisioning Lottas and the Lotta Svärd Foundation.

In 1944, Work site provisioning (Työmaahuolto in Finnish) was established to provide catering services for construction sites with the help of members of the former Lotta Svärd organisation, a voluntary paramilitary organisation for women. Through business acquisitions, this competence capital was transferred to Fazer and Amica restaurants in the 1970s.

the staff canteens have an opportunity to serve a “Lotta Menu”.

Developed by Fazer Food Services, the Lotta Menu is a modernised journey into history, based on recipes from the post-war period of reconstruction.
